Hurstwood has completed two new deals at sites in Rossendale.
A unit at Haslingden''s Three Point Business Park has been secured by Phil Clavering - who is expanding his maintenance company and also launching a new marketing business. Phil said: "I was previously based at home but I needed more space and Three Point was exactly what I was looking for. I''ve also just set up a new business - promoting organisations such as the NHS through billboard advertising on vehicles, and this is the ideal location to start from.
"Hurstwood has been a fantastic support and I''m hoping that if the new business takes off as expected, we can continue to work with Hurstwood and rent more units from them."
The Lancashire based property group has also completed a letting deal at The Courtyard in Haslingden with a blind, curtains and soft furnishings manufacturing firm. Easi Blinds Ltd was previously based at a site in Ramsbottom but have moved to aloow the firm to expand and open a showroom at its new base.
Mark Carling, Head of Commercial Sales and Lettings at Hurstwood, said: "These two new deals bring improved prospects for the area and could create much needed jobs for local people. We are delighted to have completed so many deals in recent weeks, particularly here in Rossendale as we have our roots in the area. We are currently completing around 10 new lettings a month."
The new deals follow on from recent news that more than 35 jobs will be created in Rossendale at anoter Hurstwood property, with specialist computing firm Global Technologies moving into New Hall Hey Business Centre in Rawtenstall.
