Hurstwood reports record quarter.

We have reported a record level of lettings across our national portfolio of commercial and residential properties during Q3 with new record rental levels.

Chloe Ellerby, Associate Director at Hurstwood Holdings comments: “This has been an incredibly challenging year for everyone, and like most businesses we have had to adapt the way we work.  During lockdown, whilst we obviously couldn’t do face to face viewings, we continued to liaise directly with our tenants and negotiate with potential occupiers.  This resulted in more than 42 new lettings across all sectors including industrial, offices and even retail and restaurants as well as two of our newly built apartments in Wales.”

Chloe continues: “Whilst we were surprised to have achieved this goal under such unique circumstances but I believe it is a testament to our reputation for being an approachable and proactive landlord and property owner that both existing and new occupiers come to us directly.”

Hurstwood completed the final letting of its speculative industrial scheme at Leigh Commerce Park prior to completion during the lockdown as well as agreeing on several other lettings including a number at two of its Salford industrial parks; deals with Jubilee Dela Clubs & Bars Limited in Northwich, office lettings in Edinburgh and in the North East and Swindon.

Chloe continues: “We have seen a significant change in occupiers’ needs and expectations and whilst trends for the next year are still hard to predict, with many looking to potentially downsize, our ability to be flexible means that we can accommodate many of the market requirements.”

Hurstwood Holdings is a commercial and residential property group with over £160m of property on 100 sites nationwide housing over 750 occupier clients.
