The Crown Hotel, Rawtenstall, Under New Management

The Crown Hotel, Rawtenstall will be undergoing refurbishment as a new tenant Karl Boddy takes over, renaming the free house ‘The Pub’ to match it’s new image. Karl owns a number of bars and restaurants in the Lancashire area and is very excited about the amazing opportunity.

The Crown Hotel is a substantially sized property with three floors. The ground floor offers a large bar/lounge area with a pool room and a kitchen. The above two floors make a tremendous living space, with high ceilings and large rooms. The town’s bus interchange is located directly opposite the property on the other side of Bacup Road. Local occupiers include Focus DIY, the Job Centre, Lidl Foodstore, Tesco and ASDA.

Perfectly located along the same road as some of the Valley’s most popular bars and eateries, The Crown Hotel is easily accessed with ample parking around the town centre. Karl Boddy already runs two popular nightlife spots on Bacup Road – Vogue and Zazu, so the third addition displays the demand for nightlife in the area.

Aimee Ashworth, Graduate Surveyor and Sales Negotiator explains: “Both myself and Karl are extremely excited about The Crown Hotel takeover. Karl has already begun to make changes and due to the success of his other bars, he understands what the people of Rawtenstall are looking for. I am certain The Crown Hotel will suit his purposes perfectly and wish him every success”.
