Associate Director - Asset Manager Role - AM Sci Tech – Aberdeen

AM Sci Tech is an established commercial investment company which owns and manages commercial assets currently focussed across two large parks in Aberdeen. AM Sci Tech is part of the Hurstwood Holdings group which owns and manages over £300m of commercial and residential property across the UK. 

Based at Aberdeen Energy & Innovation Parks, the successful candidate will be helping to build on the success of the parks.  This is a fantastic role for a well experienced professional. You will take immediate responsibility for the management of the properties. This is a first rate prospect for a confident and enthusiastic individual to make their mark and with further potential to manage other properties held in Scotland as well as the opportunity to become regional director within the company. 

Day to day the tasks of the asset manager will include but not be limited to;

• Overall day to day asset management responsibility for two large science and energy parks
• Deliver monthly statistics on rent and property voids
• Responsible for the management of the Parks estates
• Leading and integrating with a small team of maximum 5 people on site
• Drive forward owner’s vision for the parks 
• Ensure good relationship with tenants 
• Be responsible for all enquiries, negotiations and lettings for Leased, Serviced office, Co-working and Virtual Office space
• Prepare and issue licenses/agreements to tenant
• Undertake enquires, negotiations and issuing of heads of terms to existing tenants for lease renewals, extensions and re-gears
• Management of marketing budget, PR and marketing team and management of website and promotion of the parks
• Attend external business meetings, exhibitions and conferences to further promote and market the parks

The successful applicant will be results driven with a proven track record of successful asset management, ideally working within an existing property company but consultancy will also be considered. They will need to have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in commercial asset management or estate management.
