Crystal Secures Worksop Nightclub Planning Permission

Hurstwood sister company Crystal has secured planning consent for a nightclub on the ground floor of Crown House in Worksop town centre.

Bassetlaw District Council has granted A4 planning permission for the building, which is located on Newcastle Avenue, next to the town’s bus station.

The commercial property developer and Investor recognised the need for a nightclub in the town centre and felt that the 5,800 sqft ground floor of Crown House was ideal.

It is hoped that the A4 consent will create new jobs in the town once the nightclub is operational.

Crystal Director Andy Park said: “We are delighted to have secured this planning consent as part of our continued investment in Worksop. We feel that this represents a fantastic opportunity in the town, which is currently without a venue of this type. We are in no doubt that a nightclub will be a great success in this location.”

In addition to the ground floor, the building also features two floors of office space. The first floor is let by Nottinghamshire Police while plans are in place to convert the second floor into a business centre with offices from 1,000 sqft upwards.
