Property group Hurstwood has completed two office deals totalling over 8,000 sqft at Edwin Foden Business Centre in Sandbach.
Brenntag, which supplies chemicals to 18,000 customers across the UK, has taken 4,150 sqft of refurbished office space at the Cheshire site.
The firm is the world”s leading chemical distributor, and the foremost chemicals sales and marketing organisation in the UK.
Edwin Foden Business Centre was constructed as the headquarters for Foden Trucks in 1990. The building comprises 40,000 sqft of office space, plus auditorium and conference facilities, and almost 200 car parking spaces located close to Sandbach train station.
The property was bought by Hurstwood three years ago and has been extensively refurbished. Existing tenants within the business cente include MAN ERF, Russell & Partners and Safeguard UK.
A further 4,000 sqft has been let to Rockwell Automation, a world leader in industrial automation. The firm has consoidated its existing offices in Crewe and South Manchester into the Sandbach site. Rockwell Automation has a global turnover of $4.3 billion with headquarters in Milwaukee, USA, and other offices world-wide.
