Hurstwood has gone back on the acquisition trail snapping up a variety of properties in the North West for a combined price of over £750,000.
The four deals are for commercial properties in Great Manchester. In Walkden, Hurstwood has bought a 10,000 sq ft office complex; in Bolton the company has acquired a four storey town centre property which most recently was used as a fitness centre; a former police station was purchased in Tyldesley, and in Radcliffe the deal centred on a small office conversion.
Stephen Ashworth, Hurstwood Chairman, said: “We believe they offer excellent value and we are feel these four purchases will fit neatly into our portfolio. Whilst these are difficult times, we are constantly looking for the right sort of land and property. We are now very focused on our core activity of commercial investment and development and land facilitation for house builders.”
“We have one or two others deals in the pipeline and will be making an announcement on them when the time is right.”
Based at No 1 Marsden Street, Manchester, Hurstwood has commercial property interests in the North West, Midlands and Wales with approximately 500 occupier clients at over 100 locations.
