Hurstwood deal brings 21 jobs to Rossendale
A fire safety specialist has brought 21 jobs to Rossendale after moving into Hurstwood’s Grove House development in Haslingden
Vulcan Fire Limited has agreed a deal for 3,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space at Grove House which is located just off the A56 Haslingden by-pass.
Peter Scholefield of Vulcan said: “We have grown rapidly since I formed the business four years ago and we needed room to expand.
“Grove House, with its unique mix of warehousing and office space, was just perfect for our requirements and in terms of space and location we could not have wished for anything better.”
Vulcan, which employs 21 staff, was founded in 2006 and operates across the North West , as well as boasting some national clients. It was previously based at Pilsworth Industrial Estate.
Mark Carling, Sales Director at Hurstwood says: “We are very pleased to welcome Vulcan as our final tenant to Grove House. Our units in Rossendale have proved to be very popular. We let 20 industrial units, totalling almost 40,000 sq ft of space in the region in the last 12 months.”
Hurstwood has commercial property interests in the North West, Midlands and Wales with approximately 500 occupier clients at over 100 locations. It is based at Marsden Street, Manchester.
