Hurstwood have let more than 12,000 ft² of industrial space in Blackburn following two deals at Hurstwood Court on Shadsworth Business Park.
Soft Starter Manufacturer Ralspeed Ltd, tenants at the estate since 2007, has taken the 6,700 ft² unit A2 in addition to unit A1 which they already occupy.
The new tenants in the 6,000 ft² unit A3 are HALO Education, specialist suppliers of educational furniture and equipment.
Hurstwood have a total of 75,000 ft² of industrial space at Shadsworth, built by the company within the last ten years, occupied by tenants including BMS Critical Care, Lancashire Police Authority, and Forest UK.
Hurstwood Sales Director Mark Carling said: “Hurstwood Court offers great facilities with units benefitting from a mixture of warehouse and office space so it is no surprise that we are now fully let. The estate benefits from excellent transport links with M65 in easy reach and Preston, Blackburn and Burnley all within a 20 minute drive. This has been a major factor in attracting companies to the site.
“Demand for our industrial properties has been high in 2013 in general and we anticipate completing more deals at our estates across the North West over the summer.”
Hurstwood Court is located on Shadsworth Business Park in Blackburn. It is visible from the M65 motorway and within a short drive of Junction 5.
