Hurstwood Fully Let in Ellesmere Port

Portside Industrial Estate - Hurstwood

After completing four deals in the first two months of 2012, Hurstwood are now fully let at Portside Industrial Estate in Ellesmere Port.

More than 18,000 sqft of industrial space has been let as units 1-4 have been taken at the site in four separate deals.

The new tenants in unit 1 and 2 are Proweld Engineering Solutions and their sister company QA NDE Ltd. The two units have a combined size of almost 10,000 sqft.

Proweld Engineering Solutions is a leading mechanical engineering contractor formed in 1999. They have clients in the chemical, petrochemical, food and nuclear industries and also work on specialist contracts for the MoD.

Quality Assurance NDE offer an independent non-destructive testing (NDT) service and have clients ranging from small fabricators up to large multi-nationals.

Managing Director Tony Meadows said: “Following a period of expansion Proweld Engineering Solutions and our sister company QA NDE Ltd required additional working space to complement our existing premises.

“We decided on Portside Industrial Estate as it is ideally suited for us geographically not least because of its proximity to our other unit but it also has good transport links being just off the M53 and is also in the heart of our existing client base.”

The new tenant in the 3,000 sqft unit 3 is SW Performance Limited who offers engine tuning and diagnostic services.

Steve Walmsley said: “We’re very pleased to have moved into Portside Industrial Estate which is ideal for motorway access for our customers.”

The fourth new letting saw LTG (Cheshire) expand at the site, taking the 5,000 sqft unit 4 in addition to unit 6 which they let in November.

Portside Industrial estate is located on Merseyside Road in Ellesmere Port, close to junction 8 of the M53 motorway.

The site comprises 6 modern industrial units with a combined size of 24,000 sqft.
