Hurstwood Grows with Graduates

North West property specialist Hurstwood announces the appointment of a new graduate to its growing estates team.

Andrew McCormack of Blackburn has joined the company as a graduate surveyor.

The 23 year old has recently finished a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Urban Land Economics at Sheffield Hallam University with an Upper Second Class accreditation and has worked at United Utilities Property Solutions as part of sandwich placement.

Hurstwood Chairman, Stephen Ashworth comments: “Hurstwood is making a conscientious effort to add graduates to all of its departments. The benefits are obvious – bright, talented and ambitious young people who can bring fresh approach to the way we work.

“This will be a great role for Andrew to develop his property knowledge and skills. He is a particularly motivated person who will thrive in this working environment. I’m sure Andrew will be a real asset to our estates team.”

On his appointment Andrew says: “I’m really pleased to be given this great opportunity with one of the regions leading property specialists.
