
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding and energetic Property company, based in Manchester City Centre. We own a £100 million commercial property portfolio in the North West of England, and our priority is both the letting of our vacant units and retention of existing tenants. We have a proactive and highly experienced team of property professionals who make it their business to understand the property market inside-out.
We are now looking to recruit a Graduate Surveyor to join our busy team. Working for the Estates Director, you will be assisting with the day to day management of the property portfolio.
The areas in which the Graduate Surveyor will provide support for include:
• Dealing with day to day management and maintenance of commercial properties;
• Property inspections;
• Negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals;
• Service charge management and reconciliation;
• Overseeing specific rating appeals;
The successful candidate will be have completed an RICS accredited degree and preferably will have a minimum of 12 months work experience. The role requires a team player who is well organized with an ability to prioritize, has the ability to work under pressure yet has good attention to detail. A professional approach along with excellent communication skills will be necessary since the role will involve dealings with customers, staff at all levels, directors and customers.
