Earlier last year, it was announced that Morrison’s Local were bringing the national convenience store to Smith Street in Rochdale. The store has created around 20 new jobs, with the national chain recruiting local people to a range of positions, including management and team members.
Since the New Year, new businesses are locating to Rochdale town centre, meaning more jobs are being created and more potential high street spending.
Now open on Drake Street are the new offices of Pearson Ferrier, estate agents and valuers. In addition, iiPlus who specialise in website design and development have also opened a new branch.
These new businesses join the growing number of recent openings and relocations including, Costa Coffee, Java Espresso Bar, Aldi, Morrison’s Local and Tetrosyl.
