More Deals at Hurstwood’s Salford Quays Estate

Hurstwood - The Cobden Centre - Salford

Hurstwood have let two more units at The Cobden Centre, their popular industrial estate located at Salford Quays.

Cosmetics manufacturer Kedem Cosmetics (Wholesale) Ltd has agreed a two year deal on Unit 12, which measures 818 ft².

The company develop and market cosmetic and therapeutic products based on Dead Sea salts, minerals, and black mud.

The combined Unit 1 & 2 has also been let with current Hurstwood tenants Seahorse Couriers who have moved to the larger 1,615 ft² unit from Unit 3 at the estate.

These two deals mean that Hurstwood has completed six deals at the estate in 2013, letting more than 7,500 ft² of industrial space.

There are now only two units available at the estates, both measuring just over 1,100 ft². There is also space available at Waybridge Industrial Estate; Hurstwood’s other Salford Quays development.

Hurstwood Agency and Development Surveyor Andrew McCormack said: “The Cobden Centre has been one of our most popular estates in 2013, with tenants attracted by the modern, well-kept units and its proximity to Media City. Units at of our Salford Quays estates tend not to remain vacant for long and we anticipate completing more lettings in the near future.”

The Cobden Centre is located less than one mile from Media City with easy access to the centre of Manchester and the East Lancs Road.

The estate features 14 industrial units around a central courtyard. Each unit features toilet and kitchen facilities; some also have internal office space.
