Hurstwood has completed a five-year letting deal at Blackburn’s Waterfall Trade Park. Progen International, which manufactures a variety of sauces and marinades, has moved from premises in Darwen as the business has expanded.
Khalid Munshi of Progen said: “We are really pleased with the space and the service Hurstwood has provided. They have an excellent reputation for quality and we haven’t been disappointed.”
Mark Carling, Head of Commercial Sales and Lettings at Hurstwood, said: “We are delighted to welcome a quality company like Progen International; they really add to the mix of firms we have here.
“We are currently completing around 12 letting deals a month. We have found that with the economy in its present state, value is a key driver for the new business we have won, and we have been offering some of the best value deals in the region. It’s a strategy that is clearly working, as the figures show.”
Adds Mark: “Waterfall Trade Park is in an established industrial area close to Blackburn centre, so it is a great location for businesses who need to be close to the town. The Park has received plenty of interest from a wide range of different businesses and is ideal for trade counter outlets, production or storage facilities.
“This is the second letting on the estate this year and we now only have one unit left available.”
