Sales Manager / Senior Surveyor
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding and energetic Property company, based in Manchester City Centre. With a £100 million commercial property portfolio in the North of England our priorities are letting of our vacant units, retention of existing customers and our new house building company and offering a high level of service. We have a proactive and highly experienced team of property professionals who make it their business to understand the property market inside-out.
We are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join our busy team. Reporting to the Board, you will be managing the day to day sales and new lettings process of the property portfolio.
Responsibilities for the role will include:
• Viewings of offices and industrial units and including negotiation of lettings and sales deals;
• Property inspections;
• Managing and creating advertisements and sales literature;
• Optimising best use of social media to promote the business and properties;
• Managing the Sales & Marketing budget;
• Manage, coach and support the Marketing Assistant and Graduate Surveyor in the sales team.
The successful candidate will be RICS qualified with at least 3 years post graduate experience along with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying client requirements whilst using existing sales techniques to bring in new business.
The role requires a team player who is well organized with an ability to prioritise, has the ability to work under pressure yet has good attention to detail. A professional approach along with excellent communication skills will be necessary since the role will involve dealings with customers, staff at all levels, directors and customers.
A full and clean driving licence is essential.
