Refurbishment works are almost complete at The Crown Pub in Rawtenstall. The property, which was most recently trading as a pub in October this year, is available to let and owners Crystal Property have carried out redecoration and roof works to prepare it for new occupiers.
Graduate Surveyor Aimee Ashworth comments “The Crown Hotel on Bacup Road is in a fantastic location in the centre of Rawtenstall and offers a large bar area and considerable living space at first and second floor levels. Because of this, The Crown Hotel has the potential for many other uses, including a restaurant, apartments or boutique hotel subject to relevant planning permission. As the property is a free house we have already had a lot of interest from local operators, and so we hope to have it open for business again in the near future.”
The Crown Hotel is located on the edge of Rawtenstall town centre on Bacup Road, which is one of the primary thoroughfares through the town. The property is located is the town’s shopping area, which is earmarked for comprehensive redevelopment. There is also the town’s bus interchange located on the other side of the road, with local occupiers of the town centre including Focus DIY, the Job Centre, Lidl, Tesco and ASDA.
