HURSTWOOD HOLDINGS CONTINUES TO EXPAND ITS NATIONAL PORTFOLIO WITH FIRST LINCOLNSHIRE ACQUISITION

Hurstwood Holdings has expanded its national commercial property portfolio with the acquisition of a 106,855 sq ft multi-let industrial and office complex in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.

Located on the Boston Road Industrial Estate, the property occupies a prominent position within one of the town’s established commercial locations.  The predominantly industrial complex also comprises a main two storey office building together with an adjacent press hall and production buildings on an almost 6 acre site providing further industrial land and storage yard space.

The estate is currently home to a diverse mix of occupiers including Morson Print & Mailing Ltd, Spaceright Europe Limited, Quadrant Surveying Limited, B A Bush & Son Limited and a private gym operator. In addition, 11,017 sq ft of vacant accommodation provides immediate asset management and leasing opportunities.

The acquisition – a first for the Group in this county – further strengthens Hurstwood Holdings’ position as a leading operator in the multi-let industrial / office sector; a core area of focus for the business as it continues to grow its portfolio of strategically located commercial assets across the UK.

Stephen Ashworth, Executive Chairman of Hurstwood Holdings, says: “This is an excellent addition to our national portfolio and very much aligns with our strategy of acquiring well located multi let assets where our in house team can employ its proactive management strategies, working closely with existing occupiers and ensure it continues to provide high quality accommodation befitting the Hurstwood Holdings portfolio.

Stephen adds: “The availability of vacant space also presents a clear opportunity for future rental growth and further enhancement of the asset over time in area that is set to benefit from new investment and development, which will strengthen the local offering of amenities.”

The Hurstwood Holdings Group, headquartered in Manchester, owns and manages a national portfolio valued at over £400 million and supports more than 1,500 occupiers across 150 locations in England, Scotland, and Wales.
