Sam Ashworth
CEO
Sam, appointed as Chief Executive Officer in March 2026, has over 12 years’ experience in a variety of roles within the group having worked his way through the business to his well-deserved appointment as CEO.
As CEO, Sam is responsible for the overall day to day running and decision making of the group, both investment and development, and works closely with Stephen and Andy in dictating the group’s strategy.
He joined Hurstwood in 2013 initially working within the estates team being responsible for the rolling program of refurbishment and improvements to the group’s investment portfolio. Sam took great interest and enthusiasm in this development work and prompted the assembly of Hurstwood’s new development arm of which since its inception and under Sam’s leadership has developed over £150m of quality residential, industrial, office and self-storage space.
Sam is a proud family man and enjoys spending time with his family, including his baby daughter.
